10 people fell ill from hypoglycemia or dehydration at Siddaramaiah's Ashoka Jana Mana 2025 event in Dakshina Kannada due to delayed food and gifts, reports Deccan Herald.

At least 10 people fell ill during an event of Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah in Dakshina Kannada.
According to Deccan Herald, the incident took place during “Ashoka Jana Mana 2025" programme during which the CM was expected to reach at 12 noon but arrived an hour later and the event ended at 3 pm.
“Hypoglycemia or dehydration was caused due to the delay in providing food and gifts. Three women were given IV fluids, and seven women have already been discharged after receiving outpatient treatment," Dakshina Kannada district police said.
