A portion of the dome at the historic Humayun’s Tomb in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area collapsed on Friday, leaving up to ten people feared to be trapped under the rubble.
According to initial reports, a call was received around 4 PM alerting authorities about the collapse. Emergency services, including the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), responded quickly and reached the site.
Several people were rescued by locals. DFS teams also safely pulled out three more individuals from the rubble. No deaths have been reported so far.
