An unforgettable concert that moved her to tears
In her post, Medha recalled that Sonu Nigam had been unwell on the night of the concert, so other performers took the stage before him. “Then, for a few minutes, everything went quiet,” she wrote. “Just the lights, the anticipation, and then… that voice singing ‘Suraj Hua Maddham.’ The 11-year-old me couldn’t hold back tears.
I was so overwhelmed. The next two hours were nothing short of magical.”She went on to describe how the crowd joined in singing during one of the songs. “You smiled and said, ‘Wow, aap log toh achha gaate hain.’ And in that moment, I truly believed you were speaking only to me,” Medha shared, adding that Nigam’s voice reminds her of home and her childhood. She ended her post by expressing gratitude, calling him “one of a kind” and thanking him for the inspiration he continues to offer through his music.
