16-Year-Old Boy Dies After Snake Bite in Chatra District: A Tragic Incident

Chatra: A 16-year-old boy died after being bitten by a venomous snake in Nawadih village under Lawalong police station limits in Chatra district on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Rupesh Kumar.Family members said Rupesh had gone out to graze cattle on October 11 when a venomous snake bit him near his house. He was rushed to Chatra Sadar Hospital, where doctors referred him to Hazaribag due to his critical condition.As his health continued to deteriorate, he was further referred to Rims, Ranchi. After 11 days of battle, he died at Rims on Wednesday. An ASI of Lawalong police station said that the body was handed over to a relative after the postmortem.
