2,000 innovators to shape next-gen tech at Inter-IIT meet in Patna

Patna: In a fusion of brilliance and bold ideas, more than 2,000 scholars and innovators from 23 IITs across the country will converge at IIT Patna (IIT-P) for the four-day 14th Inter-IIT Technology Meet, to be held from Dec 11 to 14.

The conclave aims to spark transformative thinking and accelerate India’s journey towards becoming a technologically advanced society.IIT-P director T N Singh said governor Arif Mohammed Khan would inaugurate the gala meet, which is being hosted in the state for the first time. He said the gathering, recognised as one of the most prestigious annual events in the IIT ecosystem, would serve as a premier platform for collaborative problem-solving and next-generation academic and technological innovation.He added that as many as 26 technical events will be organised in association with leading corporate and institutional partners, including Pathway, Arista Networks, Adobe, Drona Aviation, STEMvibe, Genuity 10, Eternal, ISRO VLSI, Jio Health, Ebullient Securities, LAT Aerospace, Observe AI and QTrino. Centred on the theme “Resonating Cascades”, the meet will explore how ideas and innovations propagate, influence and evolve within vibrant communities of young technologists.

Students from diverse disciplines — computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, aerospace engineering and several interdisciplinary fields — will present solutions across cutting-edge technological domains.During the event, teams will work on problem statements (PS) sourced from govt bodies, research institutions and industry partners. These challenges cover artificial intelligence, space systems, sustainability, smart mobility, advanced materials, cyber security, robotics, healthcare engineering and other emerging areas.“The meet will also feature interactive sessions with invited dignitaries, scientists and industry leaders, who will mentor participants and evaluate their innovations,” the director added.
