Amid the intensifying tension in the Middle East, it has come to the fore that around 20 ships set to cross the Strait of Hormuz were turned back toward Oman after Iran’s military said that the waterway was closed’, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
Meanwhile, gunfire targeting an oil tanker and commercial ship trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz was also reported.
