27 Kerala PSUs see growth in profits

The number of Public Sectors Undertakings (PSUs) operating in profit under the Industries department has increased to 27 as per the figures presented at the half-yearly review of PSUs held in the presence of Industries Minister P. Rajeeve this week. Compared to the same period last year, 14 new PSUs turned profitable, 7 PSUs increased their profits. The total turnover increased by 9.07%, with 32 PSUs increasing their turnover. There was also an increase of ₹82.09 crore in operating profit to ₹2,440.14 crore, as per a press release from the Industries department on Sunday.
