India International University of Legal Education–Goa Vice-Chancellor Rambhatla Venkata Rao said that meritorious students can achieve great things if they receive timely support and financial assistance to pursue higher studies.
He was speaking at a programme organised by the Brahmana Samskshema Samakhya in Vizianagaram on Sunday, where ₹30 lakh worth of scholarships were distributed to nearly 400 students.
Prof. Rao appreciated the efforts of Samakhya honorary president D.V. Srikanth, president V.V. Ramana Murthy, and programme chairman Dhavala Venkata Rao for consistently extending financial aid to students of the Brahmin community over the past several decades.
Senior auditor Ramjee, the association’s vice-president Bhradwaja Chakravarthy, and other members were also present.
