Since 1996, more than 150 male students have cracked the competition to get admission in IIT colleges and now girls are also not lagging behind.”He said the students prepare through group study, with seniors pursuing engineering courses guiding them. A platform, ‘Vriksha Be The Change (VBTC)’, founded by Chandra Patekar, is also assisting students for free.Experienced teachers, including Sunil Kumar (chemistry), Kuldeep Prasad (physics) and Dinesh Sharma, guide the students voluntarily.

Patekar said, “An AI (artificial intelligence) and robotics lab has been started with the classes organised by the VBTC. It is very helpful as the students appear at regular tests on the same pattern compared to the JEE test.”“Apart from classroom guidance and tutorial classes, online preparation facility for outstation students is also available. Several students from Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and a few other states join the online classes. However, we suggest them to attend offline classes for better results,” he added.
