4 cops sleep on hospital bed, pee in dustbin, suspended

Amarjeet.Singh1Bhopal: A video showing four on-duty policemen sleeping on a patient's bed and even urinating in a dustbin inside the district hospital has led to their suspension in Sidhi, Madhya Pradesh.

A video surfaced on social media on April 13, purportedly showing heavily drunk policemen indulging in acts unbecoming of police force. Their uniforms were visible hanging nearby, raising concerns about discipline during a sensitive assignment.The policemen were deployed to guard an undertrial prisoner, admitted to the district hospital on March 28. The team led by assistant sub-inspector Narmada Prasad Prajapati had constables Udayraj Singh, Jitendra Singh and Manish Tiwari.An inquiry confirmed their misconduct occurred under the influence of alcohol.
