A total of 413 police officers were inducted into the Kerala Police force after completing their training at the Kerala Police Academy in Ramavarmapuram. The passing-out parade, held on Tuesday at the academy grounds, was reviewed by State Police Chief Ravada A. Chandrasekhar, who attended as the chief guest.
The new recruits include 187 trainees from the 20A batch of the Women’s Police Battalion and 226 trainees from the first batch of 2025 of the KAP Fifth Battalion. They successfully completed nine months of intensive training at the academy before taking the oath of service.
