In a spine-chilling moment that has stunned viewers across social media, a car in Brazil was caught on camera hurtling off a road and crashing down a steep flight of steps– only for the driver to walk away nearly unscathed.

According to the report, firefighters rushed to free Souza, who was conscious but trapped inside. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors carried out several scans and X-rays. To everyone’s surprise, Souza escaped with no major injuries– not even a broken bone. He said he had forgotten to take his medication for high blood pressure and was battling a strong headache while driving.“I had a bad headache and was thinking: 'I'll get home and take a shower, take the medicine, and sleep,’” he told Brazilian TV programme SPTV, as quoted by the Daily Mail. “All I remember about the accident is being down at the bottom of the steps and someone saying: 'Railson, calm down, Railson.’”Police later confirmed that alcohol and drugs were ruled out after tests came back negative.‘God is marvellous,’ says Souza after watching the videoWhen shown the footage of the terrifying fall, Souza could not hold back his tears.
