A team of 50 Agriculture B.Sc. first-year students from Kadiri Babu Rao College of Agriculture at Kanigiri in Prakasam district visited the Butterfly Garden of SEIL Energy India’s Supercritical Thermal Power Generation Complex in Nellore on Saturday as part of their ‘Skill Enhancement Practical Exposure’ under the Floriculture and Landscaping courses. The garden is a environmental sustainability initiative aimed at preserving nature and supporting local ecology, demonstrating that industries and nature can coexist. It houses a variety of butterfly species, making it a one-of-a-kind facility in Nellore. The company’s operations and maintenance head Sunil Kumar Gupta explained to the students the uniqueness of the garden and the company’s sustainable development initiatives.
