700 people attend free medical camp in Ongole

Around 700 people attended the free medical camp organised by Dr. Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy Vikasit Bharat Trust (Dr. NSKC VBT) at QIS Engineering College in Ongole on Monday (October 13, 2025).

Several people from different walks of life including drivers, workers, teachers and students underwent BP, sugar, heart related tests and eye check-ups at the medical camp, and free medicines worth around ₹30,000 were distributed to the patients.

Andhra Pradesh State BJP Cell Co-Convenor and founder of Dr. NSKC VBT Dr. N. Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy said, “This medical camp was organised in collaboration with KIMS Hospitals and QIS Engineering College NSS Wing.”

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is undertaking many great reforms with an aim for “Viksit Bharat”. As part of that, the Prime Minister is giving importance to areas such as education and healthcare. Inspired by his initiatives, I organised this medical camp as a contribution to the society.”

KIMS Hospital authorities announced that they will conduct relevant tests at the hospital at 50% discount. KIMS Hospital doctors Dr. Ramanjaneyulu, Dr. M. Varshita, and QIS Engineering College Principal Dr. Y.V. Hanumantha Rao were also present at the event.
