75 single window centres created to obtain permission for Ganesha idol installation in Bengaluru

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has created 75 single-window centres to obtain permission for Ganesha idol installation and has identified 41 lake premises and 489 mobile tankers for idol immersions.

The BBMP said that organisers can visit their website to obtain more details regarding the arrangements and permissions.

“For the immersion of Ganesh idols, arrangements have been made in all wards for 41 permanent/temporary kalyanis located on lake premises, as well as 489 temporary mobile tankers,” the BBMP said.

Furthermore, nodal officers have been appointed for the supervision and coordination of the idol immersion process.

This time, the civic body has cancelled the immersion facility at the Herohalli Lake in the R.R. Nagar zone due to technical reasons. Organisers around this area are advised to make other arrangements accordingly.
