In the city of Jodhpur, known for its palaces, vibrant culture, and as a dream destination for weddings, ceremonies often blend tradition with grandeur. Amidst such celebrations, one recent wedding drew attention for a different reason.A video has gone viral on the internet which shows a Ukrainian man and a woman getting married with hindu rituals and traditions. As per NDTV Rajasthan, Stanislav (72) and Anhelina (27), had been in a live-in relationship for four years before deciding to formalize their bond through traditional vows. While they had also considered Jaipur and Udaipur, they ultimately settled on Jodhpur for the ceremony.
In the video, the groom was seen wearing a sherwani and turban, and the bride chose a traditional Marwari bridal outfit.
The wedding took place at a hotel, where friends, acquaintances, and locals joined in the celebrations. As per reports, the rituals began with a Haldi ceremony in the morning, followed by the wedding procession in the evening. A priest conducted the rituals, including Panigrahan and Hathleva, before the couple took the traditional seven vows of marriage.
The wedding has sparked discussion online, with many people curious about the couple.
Some congratulated them for choosing Hindu traditions, while others questioned what drew them to an Indian-style ceremony. The noticeable age gap between the groom, 72, and the bride, 27, also became a point of debate. While a few users expressed surprise, others concluded that love does not see age and appreciated the couple’s decision to celebrate their bond in this way.
