“I have loved sarees since Class 4. Even today, I am wearing a sari draped by myself,” said Shubham, an attendee. The march began and ended at Mandai Metro Station, passing through Bajirao Road and Shanipar Road. “As a millennial, accepting and explaining my identity to family took patience. It would have been easier for Gen Z,” said Reva Kinkar.
