The official trailer of Politricks has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into a gripping tale of political ambition, manipulation, and personal sacrifice. Directed by Debaditya Bandyopadhyay, the series follows Bishnu Charan Das, a respected poultry businessman from Balurghat whose political aspirations lead him into a dangerous world of conspiracies, betrayal, and mounting challenges.Blending political drama with satire, humour, suspense, and human emotions, Politricks features an ensemble cast including Saurav Das, Arunima Ghosh, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Sayoni Ghosh, Ratan Sarkhel, Pradip Bhattacharya, and Ashok Bhattacharya. "What I like about the character is that she has many shades to her personality. She is a very normal person, and in some situations, even unintentionally funny.

She is the wife of a poultry businessman—a simple woman who is also very ambitious and quite sorted in her own way. Although she is not highly educated, she often gives wise advice to her husband. She loves him deeply, is extremely supportive, and is an intelligent woman.

What I found most challenging and interesting was the character's transformation throughout the story. That journey was something I truly enjoyed portraying.

It is definitely a character worth watching," said Arunima who plays a pivotal character in the series. The director added, "Politricks is a light-hearted comedy that surprisingly feels more relevant today than when it was written. What we once imagined as fictional satire, money power, and political manipulation, now closely reflects reality. Through humor and entertainment, the film presents a relatable story that audiences will connect with and enjoy. Featuring wonderful performances by Sourav, Rahul, and the entire cast, it also stands as a memorable tribute to Rahul’s talent and legacy.
