A sharp critic of Putin: Russian artist killed shot in Poland

A Russian artist was shot and killed near his home in eastern Poland, authorities said on Tuesday. After the victim fell to the ground, the perpetrator approached, fired three more shots, and then quickly fled the scene,” Marcin Kozak, a spokesman for the prosecutors’ office, said. Kozak added that Skrepetsky was shot in the head and chest and died at the scene.The killing has drawn attention because of Kuzovkov’s history as a Kremlin critic and political artist.
