Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was in for a pleasant surprise from her staff on her 62nd birthday – a heartwarming celebration.

In a video on social media, Nita Ambani is seen stepping out of a room to a surprise. The room is decorated by a path of rose petals leading up to the celebration area.

She is seen taking off her footwear, and walking towards the cake where the team members are assembled and are already singing a birthday song.

Ambani cuts the cake and shares it with the staff.

In a lighthearted moment, one of the team members is seen playfully applying the frosting on her nose, adding a touch of humour to the celebration. The video ends with Nita Ambani dancing happily, surrounded by her team.

Another highlight of the celebration was Nita Ambani’s rani pink embroidered suit set.

The kurta featured intricate zari and sequin embroidery, with brocade detailing tracing the neckline and cuffs. A split round neck and high-low hem gave the traditional silhouette a contemporary ease, while the relaxed fit mirrored her comfort-first approach to occasion dressing. Paired with flared palazzo pants adorned with subtle gold patti work, the look was festive without trying too hard, making it a masterclass in refined restraint.

Meanwhile, designer Manish Malhotra marked Ambani’s birthday with a slideshow on Instagram. He put out a carousel of her most iconic saree looks, each crafted by his atelier, each a chapter in her continuing love story with Indian couture.
