'AA22xA6': Yogi Babu to join Allu Arjun and Atlee's sci-fi epic - Report

The grand sci-fi film starring Allu Arjun 'AA22xA6' is currently in production and is touted as one of the biggest ventures in Indian cinema. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Atlee, the project is expected to be a grand cinematic experience. Now, the latest buzz is that Tamil actor Yogi Babu has also joined the star-studded cast.While the makers haven't made an official announcement yet, some social media buzz indicates that Yogi Babu is participating in the ongoing shoot. As per a report by Pinkvilla, the team is filming an important scene in Mumbai that features Allu Arjun, Mrunal Thakur, and Yogi Babu together.Yogi Babu has been involved in quite a number of films that have great comic timing with a reasonable mix of serious plots.'AA22xA6' is being set up as a pan-world spectacle, made on a massive budget. Production is expected to be finished in the second half of 2026, with a release in late 2026 or early 2027. While in the development stage, the movie has an all-star cast including Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor in key roles.

Vijay Sethupathi is also rumored to have been approached for a special appearance.

Allu Arjun in multiple avatars

One of the most intriguing aspects of 'AA22xA6' is Allu Arjun's role. Initially, Atlee had envisioned him in a dual role while casting other actors for the parts of father and grandfather. However, Allu is expected to take on all four characters himself, portraying different generations of the same family. This will be the first time the 'Pushpa' star appears in multiple avatars in a single film.
