Abhishek Banerjee to star in his first Bengali film

Abhishek Banerjee, best known for his roles in films like Stree, Bhediya, Stree 2, Paatal Lok S1 to name a few, has been roped in to play the lead role in a Bengali film. The film will be directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya whose last film Shri Swapankumarer Badami Hyenar Kobole got rave reviews.

A close source from the film unit informed, “The film, which is yet untitled, is a slasher film which is a subgenre of horror films involving a killer or a group of killers stalking and murdering a group of people.
