Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a lineman, Malle Ramesh, working at the Baddevolu-Venkannapalem electric sub-station in Nellore district, while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹1 lakh.

The complainant had applied for transferring the service connection in the name of his wife, and for shifting the transformer into his prawn tank, located in Manubolu mandal.
