Actor Dharma Mahesh booked for dowry harassment

Tollywood actor Dharma Mahesh has been booked by the Cyberabad Women Police station on charges of domestic violence and dowry harassment following a complaint lodged by his wife.

The complainant, Gautami, a resident of Madhapur, alleged that Mahesh had been subjecting her to harassment and pressuring her for additional dowry. The couple married in 2019 and have a son together.

Based on her complaint, police registered a case against Mahesh and his family under relevant sections of the law. Officials said further investigation is underway.
