While attending the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,’ on October 22, Hauser opened up about working on Chris Farley’s biopic with Variety. While talking about the project, he shared that he wanted actor

to play the role of Lorne Michaels, who is also known as the ‘SNL’ mastermind.He stated during the interview that, “I have some ideas for who to cast for Lorne, I really want Sam Rockwell to play Lorne Michaels, which I don’t think I’ve told anyone yet.”

He then further explained, while joking about the matter, and made a public pitch to Rockwell.He shared, “You love being around me when I do my Farley impression anyway, so I’ll do Matt Foley all day for you and make you laugh. It’ll be fun.” Rockwell and Hauser have worked one time together with the 2019 drama titled ‘Richard Jewell.’Screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber have taken over the scriptwriting for the biopic project.

Hauser, during the interview, called the latest script “the best.”

Who is Chris Farley

Chris Farley was an American actor and comedian who was best known for his skit on the long-running show ‘Saturday Night Live.’ He worked for 5 years on the show from 1990 to 1995. The biopic was initially confirmed in April last year, with the plot still being kept under tight wraps. He also worked in a number of films such as ‘Tommy Boy’, ‘Black Sheep’, and ‘Beverly Hills Ninja.’
