Actor Sanchita Ugale found hanging at her house near Mumbai

MUMBAI: Actress Sanchita Ugale, 22, was found dead at her home in Nalasopara East on Monday.According to Achole police, Ugale, a resident of Sai Santoshi Building in Achole village, allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan in her bedroom using a sari between 7 pm and 7.30pm on June 14.Police said the actress had locked the bedroom door from inside before the incident. Family members later found her and rushed her to the Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation Hospital, where doctors declared her dead after examination.Police said no suicide note was recovered from the spot.On Sunday, Achole police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) based on a complaint filed by her father, Machinda Ugale.Officials said further inquiry is underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to her death.(With ANI inputs)
