Actor Unni Mukundan rejects allegations against him

Actor Unni Mukundan on Saturday rejected allegations that he had assaulted his manager.

The Infopark police in Kochi had on May 26, 2025 booked a case against the actor following allegations of assault raised by Vipin Kumar, who had claimed to be the actor’s manager.

According to the first information report (FIR), the alleged assault took place in the basement parking of an apartment complex at Kakkanad where the petitioner resided.

The actor admitted that he did throw Mr. Kumar’s sunglasses, though he never assaulted him physically. The case is fabricated and the allegations emerged from ‘personal vengeance’, he alleged.

He also denied allegations by Mr. Kumar that he had spoken against actor Tovino Thomas or his latest movie Narivetta. Such allegations were made to create a rift between both of us, he said. The actor alleged that two actors in the industry had faced bitter experience with Mr. Vipin.
