In a significant development for Indian tech professionals aspiring to work abroad, Affluent Indians Hub — a global community founded by Sweden-based tech professional Abhishek Pal — has helped more than 1,000 IT professionals secure interview calls with international companies in just fifteen months since its launch. The milestone was showcased at the community’s flagship event, the Global Champions Retreat 2026, hosted in Pune on February 1. The retreat saw participation from over 100 IT professionals from across India and unveiled a structured six-month roadmap to help members systematically prepare for global career opportunities. Launched in August 2024, the community has rapidly grown to nearly 5,000 members across more than 30 countries, including the USA, UK, Ireland, the EU, Japan and the broader APAC region.
It primarily serves IT professionals seeking clarity, strategy and mentorship to break into international job markets. Speaking at the retreat, founder Abhishek Pal said, “India has immense tech talent, but many professionals lack the right guidance, network and strategy to access global opportunities. My community is about creating a structured pathway — not just for jobs, but for long-term global careers.”
With over 13 years of professional experience, including more than seven years living and working in Europe, Abhishek Pal brings first-hand insight into international hiring ecosystems. An EU citizen currently based in Sweden with his wife and son, he built the community based on his own experience of relocating and navigating global work environments. A key highlight of the event was the presentation of the Global Achiever Awards, honouring community members who recently secured official offer letters to move abroad — a tangible outcome of the programme’s impact — along with recognition of several members who have already successfully relocated overseas. Among those present, seven achievers earned Hall of Fame recognition for receiving more than three international interview calls, marking a notable milestone in the competitive global hiring landscape. Additionally, 25 participants were awarded Globathon Finisher Awards for their consistency, learning and dedication during the community’s three-day bootcamp — a monthly immersive programme that complements its digital recorded course and weekly live sessions. Members of the community have received interview opportunities from several international companies across global markets. With a dedicated landing page and website now live, the community plans to scale its reach over the next six months by expanding bootcamps, mentorship programmes and industry partnerships, further strengthening India’s pipeline of globally employable tech talent.
