After a long gap, Vijay Antony will compose music for another actor!

Cinematographer-turned-director Ganesh Chandra will be helming the upcoming romcom titled Pookie , starring Maargan actor Ajay Dhishan and newcomer Dhanusha.In a chat with us, the debutant director shares, “It’s a jolly love film where we have captured the lifestyle of today’s generation.

The film deals with what happens when ego comes in between a couple who have been in a relationship for six years.

” Ganesh likens Pookie to Pa Ranjith’s Attakathi .Vijay Antony will be composing music for the film. Ganesh, who began his career as a DOP with the actor-musician’s Salim (2014), says, “He is composing music for a film starring another actor after quite a while.”Actor Sunil is also part of the film, playing the role of a spiritual master. “He isn’t a villain, but plays a serious character. I had him in mind even while writing the script,” the filmmaker reveals.
