After his arrest on HC order, Tamil Nadu ADGP suspended

Tamil Nadu govt suspended ADGP HM Jayaram Tuesday, a day after Madras high court remanded him in police custody for questioning in connection with the kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy in Tiruvallur on May 10, reports A Selvaraj. Jayaram was released from Thiruvalangadu police station after nearly 25 hours of questioning Tuesday.

KV Kuppam MLA M Jaganmoorthy, another accused in the kidnapping case, was also quizzed at the police station for nine hours.
