Agri machinery mela to be held in Karur from June 20

The Agricultural Engineering Department will organise a district-level Agri Machinery Mela at the Collector’ Office in Karur on June 20 for the benefit of farmers.

A host of agricultural machinery and farm implements will be on display at the mela. Experts will explain the functions of the machinery and how to operate and maintain them, an official press release said. Youth attending the mela would be encouraged to attend a skill development training conducted by the department, the release added.
