Ahead of state-wide TVK rally, actor Vijay says people have lost hope in DMK

Actor-politician Vijay, ahead of his statewide rally in Tamil Nadu, took to social media platform X to address supporters and outline his plans. In a series of posts, he expressed concern over the public’s trust in the ruling DMK, saying, “People have lost their hope over DMK which made false promises.”

Vijay described the upcoming event as “the rally to meet people across the state” and announced that starting from tomorrow, he would personally visit every district in Tamil Nadu to connect with citizens. He emphasised the importance of adhering to the rules imposed by the Tamil Nadu Police while planning the rally, acknowledging that the authorities had set regulations despite the democratic nature of the outreach.

The actor-politician also urged his supporters to maintain discipline during the events, stating, “I request the cadres to follow the rules with military discipline to ensure safety for everyone.” He called on Chief Minister MK Stalin to ensure the safety of all participants, regardless of political differences.

Vijay’s campaign theme, “Unga Vijay Naan Varen, Varalaaru Thirumbugirathu” translates to “Your Vijay I’m Coming, History Repeats”. Vijay concluded his social media message with optimism, adding, “With God’s grace, nature’s support and with your love our rally will be a huge success. Your Vijay, I’m coming.”

Ahead of the rally, which is set to begin in Trichy, a devoted fan from Perambalur, Mathiyazhagan, created a unique tribute to Vijay. He produced a portrait of the actor using kisses on a canvas, reportedly pressing the canvas nearly 2,000 times to complete the artwork, reflecting the passion and dedication of his supporters.
