AHMEDABAD: A 29-year-old man was allegedly abducted, assaulted and even bitten on the shoulder in a clash over Rs 50,000 that his brother had purportedly borrowed. The man, allegedly called to the Sola bridge by his cousin over the money, reached the spot with his friend on Monday afternoon.
The cousin insisted that the complainant's brother had not repaid the loan.
The complainant denied this allegation, insisting that his brother had not borrowed any money.According to the FIR, while this argument was taking place, four men arrived in a van and shoved the complainant into it and fled. The complainant told police that while he was taken towards Adhana canal, where the four men assaulted him.
The complainant also stated that one of the accused bit him on his shoulder. Later, the accused abandoned him near a petrol pump. Vastrapur police have registered a case against five persons.
