Air India and Air India Express to operate additional flights for Deepavali and Chhath Puja

Air India and Air India Express will operate 64 additional flights from Bengaluru and Patna to meet the surging festive demand around Deepavali and Chhath Puja.

From October 15 to November 2, Air India will operate 38 additional flights between Bengaluru and Patna and between October 22 to November 3, Air India Express will operate 26 additional flights between Bengaluru and Patna.

Overall, Air India and Air India Express will add 166 weekly flights to and from Patna.

Apart from the Bengaluru-Patna flights, Air India will operate 38 additional flights between Delhi and Patna and 38 additional flights between Mumbai and Patna from October 15 to November 2.

From October 22 to November 3, Air India Express will operate 26 additional flights between Delhi and Patna.

“These additional flights supplement Air India’s current schedule of 42 weekly flights to Patna from Delhi and Mumbai, alongside 14 weekly flights operated by Air India Express to Patna from Delhi and Bengaluru, significantly enhancing connectivity for travellers during this peak period,” the airline said.

It added that Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Patna also enable seamless connections via Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru to and from other parts of the country as well as to destinations in the Middle East and Europe.
