NEW DELHI: The mortal remains of First Officer Clive Kunder, the co-pilot of the Air India flight that crashed in Ahmedabad, were brought to his home in Mumbai on Thursday morning, officials confirmed.According to news agency PTI, the casket arrived at Mumbai airport by flight and was later taken to his home on Ram Mandir Road in Goregaon (West), where family and friends gathered to pay their final respects. Kunder lived with his elderly parents and younger sister.According to officials, the body will remain at his home until 1pm before being taken for burial at the Sewri Christian Cemetery.Kunder was one of the crew members of Air India Flight AI-171, which was en route to London with 242 people on board when it crashed shortly after take-off on 12 June. The aircraft, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, hit a medical complex outside the airport premises, killing nearly all passengers and crew, along with 33 people on the ground. One passenger survived.The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said the flight was under the command of Captain Sumeet Sabharwal, who had over 8,200 hours of flying experience. First Officer Kunder had logged approximately 1,100 hours.
