Air India Express begins Thiruvananthapuram-Mangaluru service

Air India Express started a flight service from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to Mangaluru on Tuesday.

Initially, the service will be operated three days a week. It will depart from the Thiruvananthapuram airport at 4.25 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, arriving in Mangaluru at 5.45 a.m. The return service will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. This service was a long-pending demand of the passengers, including students.

In addition, IndiGo has also started daily flight services from Thiruvananthapuram to the Maldives capital, Male. The flight takes off from Thiruvananthapuram airport at 12 noon and reaches Male at 1.20 p.m. For the return trip, it will start at 2.05 p.m. from Male and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 4.20 p.m. Maldivian Airlines is also currently operating services on the Thiruvananthapuram-Male and Thiruvananthapuram-Hanimaadhoo routes.
