An Air India plane carrying approximately 240 passengers has crashed in Ahmedabad's Meghani Nagar area, near the airport. The aircraft, which took off at 1:38 pm, reached a height of about 625 feet before crashing. Meanwhile, rescue operations are in full swing, with firefighters, BSF, SDRF, NDRF, and Air Force teams at the crash site. The plane's fuel load of about 126 tons has resulted in a large fire. Authorities are prioritising the rescue and medical treatment of survivors at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
