An Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport on Thursday, resulting in over 200 deaths. The plane lost power at about 425 feet altitude, giving pilots only about 50 seconds before impact. It crashed into a medical college hostel 1.66 km from the runway. One passenger, Vishwakarma Ramesh, miraculously survived. The cause remains unknown, with experts citing possible engine failure but cautioning against speculation before a full investigation.
