Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ earns Rs 114.76 crore in 30 days

Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has crossed the Rs 114 crore mark in its first month, despite a significant drop in collections after its opening week. The film's performance shows a loyal weekend audience but struggles to match the success of its predecessor, Jolly LLB 2. Kumar has several upcoming projects in the pipeline.

Akshay Kumar's latest installment of Jolly series- Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and directed by Subhash Kapoor has just completed a month at the ticket window earning Rs 114.76 crore as per Sacnilk. Its 30 day journey at the box office has been nothing short of an eventful ride.

The film started its trip on a good note where it collected Rs 12.5 crore on 1st Friday, Rs 20 crore on 1st Saturday and Rs 21 crore on 1st Sunday taking the first weekend total to Rs 53.5 crore. But Monday saw a steep drop of 73.81%, bringing in Rs 5.5 crore. But Tuesday onwards the numbers stayed steady as it earned at Rs 6.5 crore on Tuesday, Rs 4.5 crore on Wednesday and Rs 4 crore on Thursday, culminating in a strong Week 1 total of Rs 74 crore.

The Week 2 saw a sharper decline as the film collected Rs 29 crore,a 60.81% drop from the debut weekWeek 2 ended with a lower weekday performance, with numbers ranging between Rs 2 crore to Rs 4 crore, indicating that the film retained a loyal audience base but lacked the momentum to sustain a high pace.

Week 3 totaled Rs 7.3 crore, with daily collections gradually tapering off. The film spiked on weekends with Rs 1.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.15 crore on Sunday indicating that weekend audiences continued to support the film, although weekday collections dropped below Rs 1 crore, reflecting audience migration to newer releases.

By the fourth week, Jolly LLB 3’s collections had declined significantly, bringing in just Rs 3.88 crore and only weekends crossing the Rs 1 crore mark. The film’s fourth Friday opened at Rs 50 lakh with a weekend bounce on Saturday and Sunday to Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.15 crore respectively. Despite minor weekday recoveries like Tuesday’s Rs 45 lakh, the overall weekly decline of 46.85% compared to Week 3 indicated that most viewers who wanted to watch the film had already done so.

But on its 5th Friday the film collected Rs 26 lakh and on Saturday it earned Rs 30 lakh, taking the 30 day total of the film to Rs 114.76 crore but the struggle continues for the film as it finds it difficult to cross Jolly LLB 2's lifetime collection of Rs 117 crore.
