A ruthless Al Nassr absolutely dismantled FC Goa 4–0 in their AFC Champions League Two clash at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh on Wednesday, as the Indian side crumbled under relentless Saudi pressure.
Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s first-half screamer set the tone before he added a calm second after the break. Mohammed Marran made it three with a neat tap-in, and João Félix stole the spotlight with a jaw-dropping bicycle kick to seal an emphatic fourth straight win for Jorge Jesus’ men.
For Goa, it was another night to forget — their fourth loss in as many matches, leaving them bottom of Group D without a single point.
First-Half Fireworks from Al Nassr
Goa started with discipline and compact defending, frustrating the hosts for nearly 35 minutes. But class eventually told — Ghareeb stepped up and curled a sensational free-kick off the underside of the bar to give Al Nassr the breakthrough.
The Saudis could have doubled their lead soon after, but Ali Alhassan skied his shot following good link-up play on the right. Still, it was clear which way the game was heading.
Ghareeb, Marran, Félix Finish the Job
After the restart, Al Nassr wasted no time asserting dominance. Ghareeb grabbed his brace in the 53rd minute, racing onto Alhassan’s through ball and slotting past a helpless Hrithik Tiwari.
Goa’s only bright moment came when Dejan Dražić forced a fine save from Raghid Najjar midway through the second half — but any hope was swiftly extinguished. Two minutes later, Marran ghosted in to turn home Nawaf Bu Washl’s cross from close range.
Then came the moment of the night — a Sadio Mané cross met by João Félix’s outrageous acrobatic finish to cap off a stunning 4–0 win.
Goa Left Searching for Answers
With four defeats in four matches, the Gaurs remain at rock bottom of Group D and are staring at early elimination. They next face Al Zawraa SC in Baghdad on November 26.
