Alcohol, abuses, assault: Drunk men in Thar create chaos in Greater Noida

A group of young men in a Thar SUV created a ruckus in Gaur City 1 area of Greater Noida late on Friday. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, prompting police to swing into action.

The unidentified men, some of whom were shirtless, engaged in unruly behaviour that drew the attention of residents.

A video of the incident, recorded by a local, showed the drunk men indulging in acts of aggression and verbal abuse. No injuries or damage were reported during the incident.

Authorities said that action is being taken against them based on available footage of the incident. Meanwhile, police officials are investigating the matter further to identify and arrest the culprits.

Social media exploded with reactions after the video went viral, with many criticising the young men for lacking civic sense. Many netizens also raised concerns about public order in such an upscale locality of Greater Noida.
