Youngseo, a newly revealed member of the upcoming K-pop group ALLDAY PROJECT, opened up about her struggles of reaching this status and ‘feeling too old’ about her debut. Formerly, she was supposed to be debuting alongside ILLIT after training for the group for a long time.
The idol, however, left before she could make her debut with the group.
Youngseo opens up about struggles and rumors
Recently, Youngseo, a newly announced member of ALLDAY PROJECT, shared how much she struggled in the entertainment industry and how everything changed for her after she left her previous group’s final debut. In an introduction video about all of the group members that was shared on their channel online, the member opened up about her life before ALLDAY.She addressed the rumors that would pop up about her, saying, "There were rumors like 'I think Yeongseo's gonna show up here' every time there's news of a new team debuting." She even shared that due to these rumors, she had to maintain a low profile most of the time.
Youngseo thought that age would be a problem
She detailed how she managed to struggle through her time after leaving ILLIT and cancelling her contract with her former company. She also shared how her age would become a hindrance in her career as a K-pop idol.
Her statement about being “too old to be an idol" garnered a lot of reactions from the public as well.
