'Amitabh Bachchan was rude to me when I met him second time,' says 'Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai' actor Saanand Verma: 'Pehli baar mile toh lagaa Abhishek Bachchan main hi hu'

Actor Saanand Verma known for playing Saxena in the popular show 'Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hai' had once done a shoot for 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' with Amitabh Bachchan. He also got the opportunity to work with the legendary actor for a commercial shoot again.

In a recent interview, he revealed that he's also interacted with many other stars like Jeetendra, but the only time he felt that superstar aura was when he shot with Bachchan.

He recalled how contradictory both his meetings were with the superstar. He revealed that during their first encounter, he chatted with Big B for three hours and he was so nice to him.Verma said in an interview with Hindi Rush, "Mujhe unka aura feel hua when I first met him. Second time mila toh woh rude the kaafi. Pehli baar mila toh lagaa Abhishek Bachchan main hi hu.

Unka beta main hi hu. (I felt his aura when I met him first. During our second interaction, he was pretty rude but when I met him for the first time, I felt like I was only Abhishek Bachchan. He spoke to me like I was his son)," laughed Verma.He further elaborated on what had happened during their second interaction. "We were shooting for an ad and I went up to him and said, 'Main bohot zyada bhagyashaali mehsoos karta hu joh aapke saath dobara kaam karne ka mauka mila.'

Toh unhone dekha hi nahi meri taraf. Woh kisi painting ko dekh rahe the aur unhone kaha 'Bhagwan kare aapko tribara mile.' (I told him, 'I'm quite lucky to work with you for the second time' but he didn't reply, he kept looking at the painting.

He then responded, 'May God give you the opportunity even for the third time.'"Verma added he's not complaining about Bachchan, but just pointing out the contradiction in his behaviour during both the meets.

He added, "I'm talking about the contradiction. Ek baar kuch zarurat se zyada hi dhyaan diya unhone and doosri baar ignore maar diya. Yeh contrast hai. Yeh ullekhniya tha. Mujhe Amitjee se shikayat nahi hai. Main unki respect karta hoon bohot and unke jaisa kalaakaar koi hua nahi hai. Par yahan koi dost nahi hai.

(The first time, he paid more attention to me than required and the second time he just ignored me. I have no complaints with him.

I respect him immensely and one will never ever see an artist like him again but all I'm saying is, nobody is a friend here)."Saanand further said that Paresh Rawal said something very right recently in an interview that when you're working with someone, they are colleagues, not friends. Rawal had said that reflecting upon his statement about Akshay Kumar where he called him a colleague and not a friend.
