Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to meet with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, where issues related to cooperation and development are expected to be discussed
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will undertake a two-day visit to Singapore on June 15 and 16 as part of the state govt’s efforts to attract investments and advance discussions on Amaravati, among other infrastructure projects.According to the CM’s official schedule, Naidu will leave for Singapore from Bengaluru on June 14. On the first day of his visit, he is scheduled to meet India’s high commissioner to Singapore Shilpak Ambule, before participating in a roundtable interaction with startup investors and venture capital representatives. He will also attend a luncheon meeting with UN-Habitat executive director Anacláudia Rossbach.The CM is expected to hold discussions with Singapore senior minister of state Low Yen Ling and several business and academic leaders, including Google Cloud Asia-Pacific president Karan Bajwa, GIC executive committee adviser Lim Siang Guan, YCH Group executive chairman Robert Yap, and National University of Singapore president Professor Tan Eng Chye.A key engagement during the visit will be Naidu’s meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, where issues related to cooperation and development are expected to be discussed.
He is also scheduled to meet the country’s foreign minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, home affairs minister K Shanmugam, and minister for manpower Dr Tan See Leng.On June 16, the CM will participate in the APAC semiconductor roundtable, the Surbana Jurong-Amaravati planning meeting, and discussions with a delegation led by deputy Prime Minister and trade and industry minister Gan Kim Yong. He will also address the Leadership Plenary at the world cities summit and visit various exhibits at the summit venue.The visit will conclude with Naidu’s participation in the CII Partnership Summit 2026 business roadshow, aimed at promoting AP as an investment destination. A delegation of senior officials, including municipal administration minister P Narayana and representatives of CRDA and the Economic Development Board, will accompany him. The CM is scheduled to return to India on the night of June 16.
