Andhra Triple Murder: Lover Arrested For Killing Woman, Her Daughters

A woman and her two daughters were murdered by her lover, Suresh, in Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh. Suresh was arrested after the investigation revealed his involvement.

An extramarital affair of a woman resulted in a triple murder in Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada district. The woman, identified as Mulpurti Madhuri (26), and her two daughters aged eight and six, were killed by her lover inside their home in Seetharam Colony in Samarlakota. Subsequently, the accused, identified as Suresh, was arrested by police.

According to a report in India Today, the matter came to light on Sunday when the deceased woman’s husband returned home after his night duty.

It is learnt that the husband, Dhan Prasad, found his family members dead after he entered the house by climbing over the back wall as the front door locked from inside.

The report mentioned initially, Prasad was taken into custody for questioning by police. But the investigation later pointed to 36-year-old Suresh, who was reportedly in a relationship with Madhuri for the last two years.

The report cited Kakinada SP Bindu Madhav as saying that Suresh spent nearly Rs 7 lakh on Madhuri over the course of their relationship. Later, Madhuri had started pressuring the accused to leave his wife and live with her.

On the night of August 2, she invited him at her house, saying her husband was away. She also allegedly asked him to buy her a gold-plated washing machine. After the accused went her house, he hit her with a wooden rod, leaving her dead. Fearing her kids saw him, Suresh allegedly killed them also.

In an attempt to make the crime appear like a robbery, he reportedly took Madhuri’s gold ornaments and two mobile phones from the house. But probe ruled out theft and arrested him based on further investigation. The post-mortem of the victims was conducted at the Government Hospital in Peddapuram.

An investigation into the murders was underway.
