The Minnesota Timberwolves’ 5-game winning streak was snapped against the Orlando Magic. The Timberwolves lost the lead in the second quarter of the game. Despite tremendous efforts during the third quarter, the Timberwolves failed to cover the deficit and lost the game.
The final score of the game was 92-119, favoring the Magic team. Anthony Edwards’ 34-point score could not help the team secure a win.Post-game, Anthony was asked about the reason behind the loss. He gave a cryptic response. The athlete replied that he knew the reason behind the loss but was not willing to talk about it. It was the second quarter that turned the game in favor of the Magic team. The Timberwolves could never get back from the loss.

In the first quarter of the game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Orlando Magic, the former team took the lead. Towards the end of the quarter, the score was 30-27, favoring the Timberwolves. However, the team took a dip in the second quarter. Towards the end of the first half, the score was 50-60, giving the Magic team a 10-point lead. Anthony Edwards was asked about the reason behind this debacle. His initial response was, “I don’t know.
I don’t know man.”
He further added, “I wish I had an answer.” However, he did not end the response there. Towards the end, Anthony added, “I do got an answer. But I do not want to say it.” His response did not reveal any specific reason for the team’s second-quarter deficit. The Timberwolves could not recover from the loss. In the third quarter, the Magic team added another 2-point lead in the score. Towards the end of the game, the difference went to 27 points.
Desmond Bane and Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 30 and 25 points, respectively. Their collective effort was more effective than Anthony’s highest score in the game.

After the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 5-game winning streak was snapped against the Orlando magic, the team will be facing the Los Angeles Lakers next. Scheduled for March 10, the team will be held at Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles. Both the Magic and the Lakers are at the 6th spot within the Eastern and the Western Conference, respectively.
