So Antonio Brown’s name is in the headlines again but this time, it’s not for an album drop, a meme, or a football stunt. He’s now facing a second-degree attempted murder charge in Florida and instead of lawyering up or issuing a statement, Brown hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and posted a rant that’s throwing the internet into chaos.
Antonio Brown reacts to attempted murder warrant: “I’m the victim, media lying”
According to reports, Brown was allegedly involved in a confrontation at a kickboxing event in Miami, where things escalated fast. Witnesses say he grabbed a gun and fired a shot after getting into an argument with another man. As of now, there's an active warrant for his arrest, and charges include second-degree attempted murder and concealed firearm possession. His response? Not denial. Not regret. Just this:“How TF you go from being victimized unto a attempt to murder you see they control the media”
Yep.
That’s his official reaction to a felony warrant. But if you ask AB, he’s the real victim here. He claims he was jumped by people trying to rob him and that he was let go after explaining his side to the cops.
Fans aren’t buying the “victim” angle and social media’s going off
While Brown insists the media is controlling the narrative, the internet has a different reaction. Some fans are calling out the irony, reminding everyone that AB has a long history of violent incidents, erratic behavior, and running from accountability. Others are trolling him with memes like “CTE got him again” and “Blaming the media while on the run is peak AB.”
Let’s be honest, at this point, even the most loyal fans are tired.
The timeline of Antonio Brown’s fall from elite WR to full-on tabloid storm has been nothing short of tragic (and exhausting). If there’s one thing consistent about AB, it’s his ability to go off-script, except now it’s no longer harmless chaos. Attempted murder is a serious charge. And instead of a legal team issuing statements, we’ve got Brown on social media yelling about media conspiracies.Whether he's guilty or not, the court of public opinion has already spoken and once again, it’s not looking good for AB.Also read - Antonio Brown posts carefree video after attempted murder warrant, internet stunned
