Antonio Felix da Costa is always a good sport when it comes to having some fun around the paddock. The Jaguar TCS Racing driver recently went on a handshake spree across several garages and left some of his colleagues amused and others uncomfortable.

Some tried weird tactics to escape the prolonged handshake, while others simply played along. It was actually Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds who overdid the prank by refusing to let go of his hand.

Antonio Felix da Costa’s handshake prank gets hilarious reactions

Antonio Felix da Costa’s handshake prank video was shared on Formula E’s Instagram page with the caption: “Calm in the cockpit, class clown in the paddock.”The video begins with da Costa heading into the paddock to play the prank.

He meets Maximilian Gunther and talks about how he partied the night before after his first win of the season in Jeddah. Da Costa reveals he had plenty of beer to celebrate. Not letting Gunther’s hand go, da Costa finally declared that Gunther was the first driver to feel uncomfortable.

He then heads to a common area to shake hands with Andretti’s Jake Dennis, who licks his hand to get out of the grip after da Costa continues holding on for a long time.

But when da Costa moved on to his next target, he himself fell prey to the prank as Formula E CEO Jeff Dodds continued to shake his hand for a long time and even pulled his hand toward him.Da Costa continued shaking hands with another person when onlooker Mitch Evans clearly said he was very uncomfortable watching the two continuously shake hands in front of him. When da Costa approached his next victim, the woman immediately caught the look in his eye and declared that he was up to no good.Da Costa responded to the video with several face-with-tears-of-joy emojis. Noticing what Lola Yamaha ABT driver Zane Maloney was doing, a fan pointed out: “Zane was wiping his drool.” Another commented: “Zane not being involved and yet catching strays.” One more fan called da Costa “an amazing guy.” Liking the content, a fan even wrote: “I love Formula E social media.”
