Antonio Felix da Costa switches focus to Sanya E-Prix after 24 Hours of Le Mans

Antonio Felix da Costa competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans of the World Endurance Championship and delivered a satisfying performance in the iconic race. He expressed his happiness at completing the race without making any mistakes but admitted he was slightly disappointed to finish sixth.

The Formula E driver made use of his free time ahead of the Sanya E-Prix by racing for the Alpine Endurance Team in the Hypercar category.

Antonio Felix da Costa wrapped up the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend and is now back to his fitness regime as he prepares for Round 11 of the Formula E season in Sanya.Summing up his experience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, da Costa wrote on Instagram: “P6 it’s all she wrote. A perfect race by the team and my team mates, we did zero mistakes, zero penalties, it’s what we had.

A small disappointment as we all wanted more. On my side personally it was difficult to find the confidence to push at 100% the whole race, managing a few little issues along the way. Guess we gotta come back, need to bring this trophy home!! Thank you team @alpine_endurance_team.

He also accompanied the post with a couple of memorable snaps from the race.He shared several more pictures in another post and captioned them: “2026 24 Hours of Le Mans.

I left it all out there. There’s always next year.” The post also included several photos of his wife, Ines Castro, who accompanied him to the race to cheer him on. Taking to his Instagram Stories, he also shared a candid video in which he surprised her with a rose.

Antonio Felix da Costa gears up for Formula E Sanya E-Prix

Antonio Felix da Costa is now preparing for the next Formula E race, the Sanya E-Prix in China. The race is scheduled for 20 June, with practice beginning a day earlier. He shared a promotional video ahead of the race on Instagram and captioned it: “Do we ever stop? Nope, never. RACE WEEK (again). Already on the way to China.”He currently sits sixth in the Formula E Drivers' Standings with 80 points. He has won twice this season, first in Jeddah and then in Madrid.
