'Anupamaa' 15th April written update: Digvijay refuses to let Anupama change anything in the cafe

The latest episode shows Anupama writing the menu when Banku compliments her handwriting. Anupama shares that she used to write the date and prayers every day in school. Banku tells her that now she will write the menu since he cannot do it.

Anupama remembers Anuj and asks him to stay in her thoughts. Suddenly, Banku falls off the sofa. When Anupama and Banku check the cafe, they realize it is damaged from the inside, even though it looks beautiful from the outside. Anupama worries about how customers will be able to sit on the broken chairs. Banku and Anupama discuss the need to repair the furniture and change the interior.

Digvijay's refusal

Digvijay questions if Anupama is already thinking about changes on the very first day.

He says Saavi never wrote the menu the way Anupama mentioned. Digvijay insists that the café will run exactly as Saavi used to run it, and nothing will be changed. Anupama tries to explain that the café has been locked for ten years and the furniture needs repairs. Digvijay remains stubborn, saying Saavi carefully selected everything for the cafe and nothing should be touched.

Anupama attempts to explain again, but Digvijay tells her that she can leave if she wants to make changes.

Anupama is left in shock.

Plotting against Gautam

To convince Vasundhara, Mahi and Ansh discuss collecting more evidence against Gautam. Meanwhile, Paritosh overhears their conversation and thinks he can get money from Gautam in exchange for information. So he tells Gautam about the conspiracy and asks him not to mention his name. Gautam assures him that he will give him money if he cooperates. Paritosh asks what else he needs to do.

Anupama's dilemma

Anupama believes Digvijay is too stubborn about not making any changes, but she wonders how they will operate the café with damaged furniture.

She feels confused about what to do. An elderly couple asks Anupama when she came back. Anupama tells them that Saavi's cafe has reopened. The couple suggests that Anupama do some promotion for the café. Anupama thanks them for this helpful idea.

Financial struggles

Hasmuk and Leela think about taking jobs to earn some money. Pakhi goes shopping to buy clothes for Ishani. Leela and Hasmuk are shocked when they see how much Pakhi is spending.

Anupama meets the jeweller and asks him to keep her locket safe, promising she will get it back soon. The jeweller assures her, and Anupama gets emotional about her locket.

Company conflicts

Anil tells Vasundhara that because of Mahi's designs, their sales are increasing. Gautam reveals to Vasundhara that Mahi is starting her own brand, and thus will harm their company's interests. Vasundhara asks who is backing Mahi. Gautam tells her that Pakhi is supporting Mahi's image and projects.

Vasundhara orders Gautam to remove Mahi from the company. Though Anil tries to defend Mahi, Vasundhara insults him.

Prem and Rahi's relationship test

As Prem returns home, Rahi asks him about his meeting with Prerna. Prem realises he has been treating Rahi badly by taking out his frustration on her. Rahi continues to support him. Prem asks her how long she will stand by him. Rahi responds that she will support him until he starts smiling again. Prem calls himself a failure.Rahi tells him that success takes time, citing Anupama as an example. Prem says Anupama never valued him, and he wants to completely erase her from his memory. He warns Rahi that if she ever chooses to support Anupama in the future, she should never return to him. His words hurt Rahi.

A creative solution

In the meantime, Anupama resolves to upcycle waste materials to restore the furniture in the cafe of Saavi. She asks Banku to help her execute this idea.
